Open Home Pro® support discontinued for iPad versions 3.9.2 and earlier

On March 14, 2016 Open Home Pro will discontinue support for iPad versions 3.9.2 and earlier. Customers who currently use one of these versions should update their app promptly, or risk losing access to their collected leads.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What will happen after March 14th, 2016?

Customers who currently use version 3.9.2 or earlier of the Open Home Pro app for iPad will still see the app on their device, but key pieces of functionality will no longer be available.

You will lose the ability to sync the app with your web account, and may lose access to your leads. Automatic follow-up emails will not be sent, and reports such as the Hot Leads Report and Visit Report will not be generated.

Only the latest version of Open Home Pro will be available for download after this date.

What should I do to prepare?

Please install the latest version of Open Home Pro on your iPad. This version (4.5.6) requires iOS 11.2 or newer, so you may need to upgrade your operating system prior to updating the app. You can find Apple’s instructions for updating the iOS software on your iPad here.

To ensure future compatibility, consider activating automatic app update downloads on your iPad. Simply follow these instructions, turning Updates “on”.

Note: First-generation iPads (released April 2010) cannot support the newer iOS software. Unfortunately these users will not be able to use Open Home Pro. We recommend exporting your leads prior to March 14th so you will have an accessible record of collected lead information.

Why is Open Home Pro discontinuing support for older versions of the iPad app?

We realize Open Home Pro users with first-generation iPads may be disappointed to find they can no longer use the app, and we want you to know that we carefully considered the decision to end support for older versions.

This change will help us develop future improvements faster, while keeping Open Home Pro running smoothly for the majority of users - ultimately giving agents the best tools to collect and convert more leads from every open house.
