This article will show you how to automatically assign leads to agents and add leads to plans using the Groups section within the Leads feature. You can learn more about creating groups and adding agents to groups here.
It is important to note that this ability is only available through our Broker Pro subscription. If you are not subscribing to this package but would like to learn more, please visit our packages and pricing page.
First, you must log onto your Placester account, go to the Leads section by clicking the App icon, and then click on the Groups tab as shown below. This will take you to the page with all your current Groups.
Automated Lead Assignment
On the Groups page, you can click on the group you want to assign leads to. In the example below, we clicked on the Zillow Group. On the Group page, you will see a section called "Lead Distribution."
This will open a slide-out panel where you'll be able to control how the leads coming into this group are distributed amongst your agents. The default setting is Round Robin, which will equally distribute leads amongst all the agents within the group. However, you have the option of changing this to a Weighted Round Robin as you see fit. This will allow calibrate the system to send higher or lower percentages of total leads to certain agents.
Automatic Plan Assignment
On same individual group page, you will see an option to add the group to a plan next to the "Plan" section highlighted below.
This allows you to create e-mail drip marketing campaigns for specific groups. Any leads added to these groups will subsequently be added to the Plans automatically as well. This provides users the option to tailor their campaigns to the groups that the leads are were added. You can learn more about creating/editing plans here.
