Adding Multiple IDX Feeds to Your Keller Williams Site

This article will explain how to display more than one IDX feed on your site. Multi-MLS is for agents who are members of more than one MLS and want to display listings from both areas under a single search on the same website.

Requesting IDX

To begin this process, you will need to login to your Placester site. From your Dashboard, scroll down the left-hand side of your screen and click on Add IDX under IDX integrations.

Follow the prompts and fill in the request information as needed. Once you’re done, click Finish.

You can repeat this process for any MLS whose feed you would like to connect with. For a detailed overview of how to request an IDX feed, please refer to our Requesting an IDX Feed support article. Once you have requested an integration, click the “Show” button to see any available details about its progress.

For most requests, you will receive an email from an e-signing tool called RightSignature, asking for agent and broker signatures. Some MLSs use their own unique process. To see if your MLS requires special steps or approvals, click the "Show" below your pending integration. You can also learn more about the IDX integration process here.

Please note: IDX approval normally takes between 5 - 10 business days.

Setting Up Multiple IDX Feeds

Once all of your IDX integration requests have been approved by the MLSs you wish to connect with, you can select which ones to display on your site. From the Dashboard, scroll down the left-hand side of the screen and click on Edit Site.

Then, from the Site Settings menu, select IDX integration.

The IDX Integrations page will display all of your approved IDX feeds. To the right of every available IDX feed, you will see an on/off toggle.

Click the toggle to turn data feeds on or off.

Once you’ve turned on your desired feeds, you can check that those feeds are active by visiting your site. You should now see a combination of listings from all selected feeds on your site.

Your site will also display the required disclaimers for both feeds at the bottom of the page.

Note: If a property is listed in two MLSs, and both MLSs are active on your Placester site, the listing may appear twice. This type of overlap is rare, but possible, so it’s important to note if you have the same listing in multiple MLSs.

Editing Your Feeds

Once you have set up your feeds, you may want to restrict which listings are showcased on your homepage and searchable on the site. Learn more about these features by reading our support articles on setting up Featured Listings and Global Filters.

You can also create Area Pages to feature specific areas covered by the MLSs you are using. Placester offers two versions of area pages. Click below to read the how-to articles for each.

Advanced Area Pages (Pro Edition)

Basic Area Pages (KW & RE/MAX INTEGRA Editions)

While there are many criteria to choose from when setting up Featured Listings, Global filters or Area Pages, it’s important to note that MLSs categorize data differently, and not every data field will be available to search on every MLS. If you are using a specific set of criteria to filter listings from multiple IDX feeds, the affected pages will only show results from MLSs for which that criteria is available.
