Integrating Your Local Logic Account

This article will show you how to integrate your Local Logic account into your Placester site.

About Local Logic

Local Logic provides hyperlocal data insights that help buyers understand the lifestyle and amenities around a property such as nearby schools, parks, grocery stores, transit, and more. These insights are presented in easy-to-read visuals that enhance listing pages, giving potential buyers a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live in a specific area. Local Logic empowers agents to market not just the home, but the neighborhood too.

What It Means to Be Integrated with Local Logic

When your Placester site is integrated with Local Logic, enhanced neighborhood data will appear automatically on your Property Details Pages. These lifestyle insights are displayed as interactive maps and icons that provide buyers with valuable context about the surrounding community without ever leaving your site. The integration is seamless and requires no manual updates; data is dynamically populated based on each property’s location.

What You’ll Need

To get started, you’ll need a Local Logic API key which is provided with your Local Logic subscription. This key is generated when your Local Logic account is set up. If you are unsure where to find your API key, please contact Local Logic’s support team for assistance.

Integrating with Your Placester Account

Once you have your Local Logic API key, follow these steps to activate the integration on your Placester site:

  1. Log in to your Placester account.
  2. Click on the three dots menu at the top of the dashboard.
  3. Select Integrations from the dropdown.
  4. Click on Connect next to Local Logic from the list of available integrations.
  5. Paste your Local Logic API key in the designated field.
  6. If you are a Broker and would like to enable this on your agent sites, check the box next to Use integration on Agent sites, otherwise leave it blank.
  7. Click Confirm to enable the integration.

Once it's set up, navigate to a Property Details Page, scroll to the location settings and the map should look like on the screenshot below.

Note: This integration only updates the map on the Property Details Page. The map on the Search Results Page remains unchanged.
