Lexington: Image Dimension Guide [Classic]

This article will tell you the ideal image sizes for our advanced skin referred to as Lexington (formerly Default Slider). You can see a demo site using this skin here. 

Please note that this skin option is only available on our higher subscriptions. If you’re currently not subscribed to one of these packages but are interested in learning more, please visit our packages and pricing page.

It is also important to note that this skin is not readily available in the back end of your site, and the code will have to be applied by the Placester team directly. If you have any questions about this, get in touch with our support team at support@placester.com.

Logo Dimensions
The logo on the Lexington skin is displayed in the top left corner of the site. The maximum size for logos on Lexington Premium skin is 269 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall. You can upload a logo of your choice by going to Site Settings > Site Info. Learn more about uploading a logo here.

Slideshow Dimensions

The slideshow images are the largest images that can appear on your homepage, so it's important to use the ideal dimensions to get the most out of this valuable space. The ideal size for slideshow images is 1600 pixels wide by 616 pixels tall. Learn more about adding slideshow images here. 

Tip: Our customers are most successful with using images of homes, scenes, and landscapes without any text on them where a little cropping on the top or bottom wouldn’t have a huge impact.

Agent/Agent Roster Image Dimensions

The Agent image will appear on your Home, Contact, Testimonials and Property Details pages. You can add it by going to Site Settings > Site Info or can learn more about doing so here. This image should be 275 pixels wide by 275 pixels tall.  The same goes for images that are added to individual agent profiles to be displayed on an agents index. Learn more about this process here.  Tip: Note that the recommended dimensions are the same height and width, meaning your headshot should be cropped to a square. If the image you upload is not a square, it could appear oblong when it loads in the provided square or circular spaces across the site.

  Blog Post Featured Image Dimensions

You can choose featured images for each blog post that will appear in the blog index. Here is a guide for creating blog posts and adding featured images. The recommended featured blog images dimensions are 210 pixels wide by 165 pixels tall.

  Image Sizes on Pages and Posts

You can also add images within blog posts and pages, such as your about page. The only image size constraint to keep in mind on pages using this theme is that they can be a maximum of 632 pixels wide.
