Creating a Property Landing Page

A Property Landing Page shows one listing from your MLS on its own page. It fills in the address, the photos, the price, the bedrooms, the baths and the size from the listing. Use it to promote a home in an ad, an email or a social post.

Create the page

  1. Select Dashboard in the top menu.
  2. On the site card, select EDIT SITE. Site Edit opens with your homepage.
  3. Select Add New in the top bar. The Add New panel opens on the Pages tab.

The Property Landing Page card in the Add New panel

  1. Add to header menu: Puts a link to the new page in the menu at the top of your site. Leave it clear to keep the page out of the menu.
  2. Property Landing Page: Creates a page for one listing from your MLS.

Select Property Landing Page. Site Edit creates the page in your draft and shows it.

A new Property Landing Page before you pick a listing

  1. Choose a listing for this page: What a new Property Landing Page shows until you pick its listing.
  2. Settings: Opens the settings of the page you are viewing.

Pick the listing

  1. Select Settings in the top bar. The Settings panel opens on This Page, on the General tab.
  2. Scroll down to Select listing.

The General tab of the page settings

  1. Page content: The tab where you add and arrange the modules of the page.
  2. Disable header on this page: Hides the top of your site, with its menu, on this page.
  3. Disable footer on this page: Hides the bottom of your site on this page.
  4. Select listing: The listing the page shows. Choose one from your MLS listings.
  5. Add page to header menu: Puts a link to this page in the menu at the top of your site.

Choose the listing in Select listing. The page fills in with that listing.

Type a name for the page in Page title. The new page starts with a sample title. The page title is the name of the page in your Pages list.

To make the page a stand-alone page for an ad, turn on Disable header on this page and Disable footer on this page. Visitors then see only the listing, with no menu that takes them away.

Edit the hero

The hero is the top part of the page. It shows the listing address as its title and the listing photos as a slideshow.

The hero of a Property Landing Page

  1. Title: The listing address. Select it to type another title.
  2. Click to add text: A short description of the home.
  3. Click to add a button: An optional button, for example to book a showing.

Select a part of the hero to type in it. The MLS notice with the listing agent and the listing office appears under the hero.

The property modules

A new Property Landing Page has a Property Details module under the hero.

The Property Details module

  1. Property Details: The module with the price, bedrooms, baths and size of the listing, filled in from the MLS.
  2. Customize Icons list: Opens the settings of this module.

You can add four modules that are made for Property Landing Pages. They show data from the listing you picked.

  1. Select Settings in the top bar.
  2. Select the Page content tab.
  3. Select Manage modules. The Add module panel opens.
  4. Scroll to the end of the list.

The Property Landing Page modules in the Add module panel

  1. PLP Gallery: Shows the photos of the listing.
  2. PLP Icons List: Shows facts of the listing, such as price and bedrooms, with icons.
  3. PLP Details: Shows the details of the listing next to a photo.
  4. PLP Listing Map: Shows where the listing is on a map.

Select a module. If the module has layouts, select one. You can also add any other module from the list. For more about modules, see Working with Modules.

Publish the page

The new page and your changes are in your draft. The draft bar at the bottom of Site Edit shows the number of changes, with Discard and Publish. Select Publish to put the page on your live site, or Discard to remove the draft.

For more about drafts, see Publishing and Discarding Drafts. For the other page types, see Choosing a Page Type.
