Using the Media Library

The Media Library stores the files you use on your website. It is in the top menu for every account. It is not limited to Codeless sites.

Open the Media Library

Select Media Library in the top menu.

The library opens on All media. The left side also has Collections, Trash, Shared media, Unsplash, and AI media. Shared media is for brokerages. A Team or Broker Standard plan shows a lock on that item until the plan includes it.

Use Upload Media to add a file. You can upload JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, ICO, WEBP, PDF, CSV, XLS, XLSX, MP4, WEBM, and MOV files. Zip files are not accepted. Use the search box to find a file by name.

Work with a file

Select a file. A panel opens with the actions for that file.

  • Copy URL copies the file address.
  • Edit image crops a photo.
  • Add to collection files it in a collection.
  • Preview opens the file.
  • View Metadata shows the file details.
  • Move to trash removes it from the library. Open Trash to see files you removed.

Collections

Select Collections, then create a collection and name it. You can keep as many collections as you need. Open a collection to see the files in it.

Shared media

Shared media is where a brokerage shares files with its agents.

A broker selects Shared media, then add files to shared media. Agents open the same tab to use those files on their websites. An agent's shared media tab is view only. The file menu there is Preview. Agents cannot edit or delete the brokerage files from that tab.

Unsplash and AI media

Unsplash is a search of royalty-free photos from Unsplash. Those photos are not provided by Placester. Search by a word such as home or house, then add a photo to your library or to a collection.

AI media holds images generated for your account. It is a separate list from the files you upload.
